ADHD

It is important that parents understand what ADHD is and how to help their children manage it. Children with ADHD are not being "lazy or difficult," but they have a diagnosable medical condition and it is important that parents understand how to accommodate this medical disability so a child can thrive. Additionally, as children become older parents want to teach their child how to advocate for themselves regarding their diagnosis of ADHD. These resources are not a substitute for professional assistance and should not be viewed as professional advice.
